Sample Meal Plan

Monday--— AM Snack: Dry Cereal, Pear, H2O Lunch: Spaghetti, Broccoli, Apple, Milk PM SNACK

Tuesday-- AM Snack: Graham Crackers, Banana, H2O Lunch: Stir Fry Chicken, Rice, Pear, Broccoli, Milk PM SNACK
Wednesday-- AM Snack: Rice Cake, Grapes, H2OLunch: Mac & Cheese, Carrot Sticks, Apple, Milk
PM SNACK


Thursday-- AM Snack: Goldfish Crackers, Apple, H2O
Lunch: Teriyaki Chicken, Peas, Nectarines, Milk
PM SNACK
Friday-- AM Snack: Animal Crackers, Blueberries, H2O
Lunch: Baked Chicken, Brown Rice, Orange, String Beans, Milk
PM SNACK

*Organic Dairy Products, Juice and Produce available to students when possible
*Meal Plan administered by US Dept. Of Agriculture & CA Dept. of Ed.’s “Child Nutrition Program”
*Notice how each meal conforms to the CACFP guidelines of:

AM/PM Snack (2 of the following items + juice/water)

• 1 fruit / vegetable
• 1 grain / bread
• 1 meat /

Lunch (2 of the following items + milk)

• 2 fruit / vegetable
• 1 grain / bread
• 1 meat / meat alternate

*Students with special diets must bring their own snacks and lunch (and milk) daily.
~We encourage parents to check the food menu log daily, as well as to read and initial the student observation log (see white binder in the hallway). Thank you!
