The children made guitars out of boxes and rubber bands and learned about vibration (sound) and the how to manipulate pitch. Students use their sense of touch and vision in the art making process as they decorate their instruments. Before starting this unit, the children listened to guitars playing on YouTube, as they watch a short clip of the Gypsy Kings live in concert!
