Las Posadas | AMA Holiday Concert and Party!

We had a wonderful holiday celebration for Las Posadas, with a song and dance performance by the students!  Everyone enjoyed a festive international potluck dinner and special treats.

Recycled Art Project

A special parent-led art project, making robots using all recycled materials.

Halloween Parade and Park Day!

We had a fun Halloween Parade that ended at a local park. Parents joined us for the festivities!

Celebrando El Dia de Los Muertos!

We have been celebrating El Dia De Los Muertos with special projects, the creation of a community altar, and today with Calavera face painting!

2012 Mural Unveiling

We unveiled the mural "Somos Estrellas Todos" at the end of summer party.  Children and parent volunteers worked together to finish this beautiful painting! It's now a part of our outdoor play area for all to enjoy.

Fiesta a PPLA Verano 2012

We celebrated the end of the summer program with a dance and drumming performance!  Families brought international dishes to share and we had a feast!

Summer Progam: Mural Painting Class

Students are participating in a weekly mural painting class led by a parent volunteer. The theme of this year's mural is space exploration and the solar system, with the title "Todos Somos Estrellas"!
